Being invited into your life for an hour is such an honor that I do not take lightly. Getting to know you and/or your family and discovering what makes you who you are is one of my greatest joys in this biz. I so often find that I meet a new client and by the time we are done with our shoot, they’ve become a friend. And I think that’s because our shoots together are FUN! They should be. They should incorporate what makes you happy, what excites you, what makes you laugh, what interests you. After all, your photos should be a reflection of YOU. And to me, that is ALWAYS beautiful. I’ve been passionate about capturing that for as long as I can remember. As a little girl, I carried my hot pink 110mm camera key chain EVERYWHERE. I snapped away on every family trip and adventure we ever took. As a high school senior, I spent countless hours working on our 1997 (no, thats not a typo) yearbook and staying late after school experimenting in the dark room. As a new mom, I remember not being able to snap enough photos of my newborn’s dimply hands and chunky thighs. Pretty soon my friends were asking me to capture their baby’s dimples and chunks. And before I knew it, this lifelong hobby had very organically turned into a business that I am now so proud of and brings me incredible joy.
